About the Book

Dumped by his girlfriend, stuck in a soul-sucking job, and sharing a chaotic apartment with a wild roommate, Joy Boy needs a new trajectory.

When he sets out on a quest to find meaning and purpose beyond the 18-word TV programming descriptions he writes for his job at the TV Talon Times, Joy Boy encounters an eccentric cast of impassioned, lonely, and restless characters, each on their own search for fulfillment, in this uproarious romp through the streets of Manhattan that's part comedy, part romance, and wholly entertaining.
